I have always believed that there were checks and balances in place throughout our govt structure that would prevent a single party from turning us into a dictatorship. Since the 2020 election I see how wrong I was. The extent of their lies, suppression of free speech, & fraud without a single consequence is mind boggling. Where did we go wrong....
For one thing, I think we overestimated the professionalism and ethics of the media. I always knew they were liberal but I thought that they certain standards that would keep them from ignoring major and important stories. We all know now that the press has no shame. It covers up for the Biden crime family every day.
Very true, even Fox now. I think another aspect is our education system. There is an entire generation with little to no critical thinking skills. Scary.
No, Michigan is much worse. And, just for the record, our part of NE Ohio (Lake Co.) votes REPUBLICAN (I think). Not sure I could say the same for John's Island.
